Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with 6-9 years of experience in manual, database, and automation testing to join our dynamic team
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies and will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and executing both manual and automated test cases
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Participate in requirement analysis and review to ensure testability and identify potential issues early
- Experience in developing test scenarios and test cases for the capabilities of our products
- Experience in executing test scenarios/test cases during formal test periods for every release
- Involvement in preparing release QA test plans, test strategies, and reporting bugs for large-scale applications
- Experience in Functional, Smoke, Regression, System Integration, and End-to-End Testing
- Experience in backend API testing using POSTMAN and the Rest Assured IO Java-based library for all GET, PUT, POST, and DELETE methods to assert responses
- Experience in web-based applications and cross-browser testing
- Experience in the test management tool Zephyr Scale Jira App is a big plus
- Experience working with various traditional databases such as SQL Server, as well as non-traditional databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc
- Experience in using the Snowflake cloud-based data warehousing platform is a huge plus
- Extensive work experience in Agile teams using Scrum/Kanban models
- Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Understanding of the CI/CD process
- Familiarity with Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Prior experience with any cloud platforms (eg, Azure or AWS) and related services is a plus
- Experience in Test Automation frameworks and tools (eg, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, Maven, TestNG)
- Experience in building test scripts using the Java programming language and the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber framework
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables
