Job Description

Responsibilities :

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database systems
Perform regular database updates and patches
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
Manage user accounts and permissions
Perform and verify database backups and restores
Implement and enforce database security policies
Manage storage structures within the Oracle database
Provide support for database-related issues
Document database configurations, procedures and backup schedules

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
2 to 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration
Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures
Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification will be an added advantage
Good problem-solving and communication skills
