Job Description
Numino Labs is based out of Pune, India, and provides software product engineering services on Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google cloud platforms for technology companies looking to evolve their products to take advantage of cloud computing.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team. A great QA Engineer is more than just a tester they are the advocate for the end user: A combination of user empathy, technical fluency, and system-level perspective that ensures that products are reliable, resilient, and a joy to use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approach testing with both structure and creativity building thoughtful test plans while also embracing ad-hoc exploration to uncover edge cases.
- Conduct thorough manual testing of the product to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Write comprehensive test cases and test suites.
- Execute regression testing to validate product stability after updates.
- Review technical documents and provide feedback to ensure testability and clarity.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand system requirements, define and implement effective test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform defect logging, tracking, investigations, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Work with developers to resolve software issues and improve product quality
- Implement and advocate for best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Explore and integrate generative AI techniques to enhance test generation and coverage.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman and to validate backend services and integrations.
- Gain a foundational understanding of cloud technologies to test and validate cloud-based solutions
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Quality Assurance for software SAAS Products
- Experience on investigating issues in qa, staging, production experience in cloud SAAS product deployments on AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong ability to grasp business domains, user personas and keep a strong user and user experience perspective at all times
- Familiarity with generative AI techniques and their application in software testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
(Optional)
- Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools.
- Experience in Test Automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
