Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead with hands-on experience in Power Platform technologies, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate
- The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring quality delivery of low-code or no-code applications and automated workflows
- This role will require strong test strategy skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform solutionsLead end-to-end testing activities for solutions built using Power Apps and Power Automate
- Define, develop, and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
- Drive test automation and process improvements using tools compatible with Power Platform
- Ensure that all testing is carried out in accordance with industry standards and best practices
- Coordinate and manage testing resources across different phases of the SDLC
- Provide clear and concise test status reporting and defect tracking using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives as part of the Agile process
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2+ years in Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Strong understanding of Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate Flows
- Experience with manual and automated testing, especially in the context of Power Platform
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Test Plans, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Dynamics 365 integrations
- Good understanding of API testing, data validation, and performance testing
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform
- Familiarity with Power BI, AI Builder, or RPA in Power Automate Desktop
- Experience with security and compliance testing in cloud-based platforms
