Job Description
Summary:
The SaaS Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that connect our SaaS platform with other internal and external systems. This role requires strong technical skills in API design, middleware technologies, and a deep understanding of SaaS architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage integrations between our SaaS platform and other SaaS and on-premise systems.
- Design and develop integration solutions using various technologies, including APIs, middleware platforms, and scripting languages.
- Design and implement APIs, middleware and data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of integration processes and solutions.
- Ensure integration solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Ensure that all integration solutions comply with security and governance policies.
- Implement security best practices for data transfer and access control.
- Stay current with emerging SaaS technologies and integration best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on SaaS integration.
- Proficiency in Strong experience with API design and development (REST, SOAP).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with data formats like XML, JSON, and messaging protocols.
- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud computing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with security protocols like OAuth 2.0 and SAML is a plus.
- Experience with integration platforms (iPaaS) like Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar.
