Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Dialogflow CX Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced conversational AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in building chatbots and virtual agents using Google's Dialogflow CX platform.Telus Digital Careers
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex conversational flows, including intents, entities, and fulfillment logic using cloud functions, webhooks, or other appropriate technologies.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Implement and maintain robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
- Monitor and analyze agent performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards for the team.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dialogflow CX agent performance.
- Work with the team to establish best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring of chat platform applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6 to 9 years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying chat solutions using Dialogflow CX.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with API integration (REST, SOAP).
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer certifications.
- Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin.
- Proficiency in using Jest for unit testing and familiarity with other testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
