Job Overview:
A Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing the public image of an organization. They craft strategic communication plans, build relationships with media and stakeholders, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms to maintain a positive reputation.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and R&D teams to generate clear messaging.
Develop and execute high-impact PR strategies aligned with business goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tech journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
Coordinate press briefings, product demos, and appearances at tech conferences or webinars.
Monitor industry news, trends, and competitor activity to inform media strategy.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and stakeholders.
Track PR metrics and prepare performance reports.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify.
Experience in PR or communications, preferably in SaaS.
Bachelors degree in communications, PR, Journalism, or a STEM field with demonstrated writing expertise.
Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social platforms.
Strong understanding of digital media, analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
Background in executive communications or thought leadership.
