Senior Performance/Load Test Engineer

Location: Greater Noida, Pune, Chennai

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Performance/Load Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and automating performance testing strategies for highly distributed software systems. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust performance testing strategies for complex, distributed systems
• Automate performance testing across both API and GUI layers
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Continuously improve performance testing frameworks and methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

• 710 years of experience in software development and quality engineering
• Proven expertise in performance testing and engineering for scalable systems
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Programming Languages: Python, Java, or TypeScript
• UI Test Automation: Playwright
• API Testing Tools: Rest Assured, Postman
• Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, K6, BlazeMeter, Locust, Artillery
• Experience with Artillery is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of system architecture, load balancing, and distributed computing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerized applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
