Job Description
Project descriptionJoin this exciting team of testing professionals who serve a bank in Australia. To secure this position, you need to have a proven track record in Mainframe testing (5-12 yrs), as well as experience with various mainframe and platform testing tools. Having Hogan testing skills will be an added advantage. You will be required to work with various stakeholders and have a level of familiarization with Agile testing methodologies. The work involves managing and creating testing requirements for various internal teams. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Collaborate with the business stakeholders to identify testing scope. Identify and prioritize test conditions addressing product risks and features to be tested. Identify necessary test data to support test conditions and test cases. Design test cases and sets of test cases to cover test conditions. Develop test procedures and other quality documentationtest plans, test cases, and status reports. Schedule and execute manual progression and regression tests. Handle responsibilities of analysing test results and troubleshooting environment issues. Responsible for verifying database interaction defects as well as conduct performance and capacity testing. Assigned the tasks of testing and evaluating mainframe interactions with distributed systems. Handle responsibilities of preparing detailed test cases by analysing technical requirements. Be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders as to test plans and create detailed testing reports. Skills
Must have Mandatory Skills Description: 5+ years of experience in Core Banking mainframes testing technologies with emphasis on Hogan. Advanced knowledge of understanding manual testing with an emphasis on System Testing and System Integration Testing. Experience in test process management, testing governance and guidelines. Possess strong analytical, problem-solving solving and communication skills to interact with key stakeholders. Team player who can work on multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Banking domain, including lending. Disciplined and organized approach. Highly motivated, good initiative, and flexibility.
