Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst who can effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with APIs and databases, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear technical deliverables for development and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business teams and development/QA teams to ensure clarity of requirements.
- Understand, analyze, and document business and system requirements (functional and non-functional).
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, and other requirement artifacts.
- Create and review user stories to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Resolve queries raised by the development and QA teams promptly.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities for workflow improvement.
- Execute RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger, and analyze the responses.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in database querying (SQL) for data validation and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger to create and validate XML and JSON requests.
- Ability to work with XML and JSON datasets effectively.
- Experience creating and maintaining JIRA boards and Confluence documentation.
- Strong understanding of project management practices and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with basic security vulnerabilities in internet-facing applications.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to automation tools for API testing and requirement traceability.
