Job Description
Responsibilities include end-to-end network engineering aspects:
- As a Network Engineer, you will be working on Client's network and have end-to-end ownership (architecture/design/scale/operations) of our current and newly developing networks.
- Knowledge and experience in telecom SBC(Mandatory)
- Lead the design of highly available large-scale telephony networks, driving them from concept to launch
- Work closely with our software developers to fully automate network deployment and operations
- Drive operational excellence projects to improve network performance and reliability
- Enforce and strengthen security levels of the data centers.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Dive Deep into the high severity of incidents, recommend preventative solutions, and participate in root cause analysis
- Partner with our broader Technical operations organization to reduce operational burden
- Support in organizational transformation from reactive to proactive with a focus on predictiveness
- Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes
- Drive standards across the network and ensure that we are fully compliant to those standards and policies
- Participate in hiring and developing the best
- Help enforce and/or tweak SLAs for existing deployments to improve efficiency
- Stakeholder management
Must-haves
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor / Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN infrastructure
- Knowledge and experience in telecom SBC
- Knowledge and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: SIP, WEBRTC, TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS
- Knowledge and experience with network security and various secured VPN technologies
- Knowledge and experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment, DNS and DHCP
- Experience in various network monitoring tools
- Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming
- Knowledge of various end-user devices and their network interactions
- Proficiency in configuring and managing networking devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, SBC
- Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis
- A "DevOps" mindset. You own what you will develop.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a head for problem-solving.
- Team-player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills, issue prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
