Role Overview
We are looking for experienced and junior backend developers with Spring Boot knowledge with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable and robust backend services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building RESTful APls, integrating databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness in our backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
2. Write efficient queries and manage data in relational and NoSQL databases.
3. Debug and fix issues under the guidance of senior team members.
4. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team discussions.
5. Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
6. Document code and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
7. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver product features.
8. Learn and apply best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
9. Stay updated with new backend technologies and contribute ideas for improvement.
Required Skills
A. Essential Skills
1. Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot.
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.
3. Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to implement basic data models and queries.
4. Knowledge of Git for version control and GitHub/GitLab for collaborative code management.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards.
6. Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
7. Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
8. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features.
9. Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions.
B. Desired Skills
1. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
2. Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
3. Familiarity with microservices architecture.
4. Experience working with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
5. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
6. Knowledge of security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
7. Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
