Job Title: Senior Fullstack Lead MERN/MEAN Stack
Experience: 12+ years
Location: Chennai
Role Overview:we are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Lead with expertise in MERN/MEAN stack to lead high-performing engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in fullstack development, architect scalable solutions, and guide teams in delivering high-quality, secure, and performance-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of fullstack developers, ensuring delivery of robust web applications and solutions.
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using MERN/MEAN stack technologies.
- Drive end-to-end development: front-end, back-end, database, APIs, and deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX teams, QA, and DevOps for seamless delivery.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability while maintaining security best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks; recommend adoption where relevant.
- Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years leading teams.
- Strong expertise in MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) or MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) stack.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and cloud-native development.
- Strong database skills (MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL) and familiarity with ORM/ODM tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to serverless architecture and cloud-native solutions.
- Experience in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with security best practices (OWASP, JWT, OAuth2).
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
Education:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, React/Angular, Fullstack, or Cloud) are a plus.
