Candidate will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of Autosys environments. This includes creating, defining, and managing Autosys jobs, job schedules, calendars, and dependencies.
Design and implement Autosys job workflows based on business requirements. This involves understanding the system architecture, application dependencies, and job dependencies to create efficient and reliable job schedules.
Automate manual processes related to Autosys job scheduling.
Autosys Maintenance, Upgrade and Licensing
Infrastructure Automation - wherever possible
Knowledge on Production EEM Admin tool
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Autosys jobs and the overall scheduling system.
Analyze AutoSys log files to identify any potential issues.
Should be able to analyze exit codes on job runs and provide resolution accordingly.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks of production jobs.
Troubleshoot Autosys production database issues.
Document Autosys configurations, job schedules, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
The candidate will collaborate with various teams, such as development, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, understand job dependencies, and coordinate job scheduling activities.
Keep a close watch on SLA based issues/ service requests/ Emergency Changes/ Automated Jobs and get them Executed/ Closed in timely manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have Strong technical and analytical skills.
Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
A high degree of self-confidence and maturity and willing to adapt to changes.
Willing to work in 24/7 environment with rotational/ mostly US shifts.
Carry out day to day work with little instructions.
