Job Description

1. Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and backend automation

2. Independently design, develop, and execute automated tests for Java-based backend REST APIs.

3. Analyze API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI) to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

4. Write clean, maintainable test automation code using JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, and RESTEasy client.

5. Experience working with Maven for build management and Docker for containerized testing.

6. Familiarity with Kubernetes for deploying and managing test environments.

7. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and Nosql databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB)

8. Strong experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.

9. Exposure to cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).

10. Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and monitor build/test results.

11. Exposure with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.

12. Ability to write clear, detailed test design documentation.

13. Familiarity with performance testing tools or security testing.

14. Strong verbal and written communcation skills
