Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate with 5-7 years experience as a software QA (preferably Product Software QA) for playing a lead role in ensuring quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.Requirements:
1.Proven work experience in software quality assurance
2.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools & processes
3.Experience in writing clear, concise & comprehensive test plans & test cases
4.Analyze and Understand Manual Test Scenarios to prepare the Test Automation scripts and reduce cycle times
5.Tools familiarity on QA Life Cycle such as bug tracking tools and Test Management
6.Experience testing web services
7. Send daily status reports to all stake holders, Represent the QA team in any status meetings
SKILL TESTS- TESTING
1.Experience in writing SQL Queries especially in Oracle and SQL Server
2.Experience with both white box and black box testing
Proven Ability to write Test Scripts
3.Good Knowledge with Manual and Automation Testing
Strong Knowledge of JMeter, Selenium, SQL
4.Excellent Written, Oral and Documentation Skills
Remote Support of Deployed Applications till stabilization:
5.Managing Product Deployment related bugs and providing remote-testing and support till resolution
6.Simulation of Client environment including constant manual and Automated monitoring of client installations to aid test scenarios
7.Handling Client Calls excellent communications skills
8. Gather the acceptance criteria from the UAT users to understand the parameters for their evaluation. Share the acceptance criteria with the team and work with them on collecting or creating UAT test cases. If necessary, train the UAT users on the application
TEAM-LEADERSHIP
1.Manage the activities and performance of the Testing Team, to ensure achievement of Test Schedules & Testing Standards to meet internal and external Client Expectations
2.Coach and manage Testing Team, ensuring appropriate levels of technical, product application training required
3.Provide KRAs and Monitor progress to agreed objectives via regular reviews in line with Performance appraisal process.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers
PG: MCA - Computers, M.Tech - Any Specialization, Computers
