Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Perl and UFT to design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities for automation within software processes and develop software to control and monitor mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within software processes.
- Develop and implement software for controlling and monitoring mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues related to automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve systems.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports on automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python, VBScript, and Bash shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Microfocus UFT (QTP) for GUI automation.
- Familiarity with Git and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Windows command-line utilities, SSH, make, and TCP/IP.
- Ability to set up and configure virtual machines.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and project management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar industry or with similar technologies.
- Additional certifications in automation or related fields.
