Job Description
As a Solution Architect /Rulestream Architect specializing in Siemens Rulestream,with deep expertise in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) product configuration and solution architecture. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, rule-driven automation frameworks using Rulestream, with integration into CAD and PLM systems. Strong programming skills in VB.NET, C#, or similar languages are essential. Prior experience with complex configuration environments and a background in enterprise engineering systems is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex Rulestream-based configuration models for ETO product lines.
Architect and implement rule-driven solutions that align with engineering and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate Rulestream with CAD platforms (e.g., NX, Inventor, SolidWorks) and PLM systems.
Develop custom scripts and extensions using VB.NET, C#, or equivalent to enhance configurator functionality.
Lead solution architecture discussions and mentor junior developers in best practices for Rulestream development.
Optimize and troubleshoot existing configuration rulesets for performance, accuracy, and maintainability.
Ensure adherence to Honeywell (or client-specific) engineering standards, compliance, and digital governance protocols.
Support deployment, version control, and lifecycle management of Rulestream applications. Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
8 to15 years of total experience with at least 5 years in Rulestream development and configuration.
Demonstrated expertise in ETO (Engineer-to-Order) configuration and business process automation.
Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, or similar programming languages.
Strong understanding of CAD automation and integration with engineering rulesets.
Experience in large-scale Rulestream implementation or upgrades.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
