Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design & Develop Automation Solutions
- Build, maintain, and scale network automation scripts/playbooks using Python (Netmiko, Paramiko), Ansible, and Terraform to streamline configuration, provisioning, and management of network devices (routers, switches, LB, etc.).
- Develop reusable Python modules and libraries to abstract device-specific logic (e.g., command templates, SSH connections, parsing outputs).
- Network Architecture & Engineering
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of core network architecturesfocusing on routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP, EVPN), and overlay technologies (VXLAN).
- Collaborate with Network Architects and Infrastructure teams to translate high-level requirements into scalable network designs.
- Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- Leverage Cisco DNAC to automate campus and data-center network provisioning, policy enforcement, and device lifecycle management.
- Develop DNAC integrations (APIs, Scripts) to automate workflows such as device onboarding, OS upgrades, and telemetry collection.
