Epic Client Systems Administration
Educational/Professional Qualification: Degree in computer science or a relevant stream.
Experience : Minimum 5 years in Microsoft Windows server administration and 3 years in Epic Client Systems Administration.
Certification & Experience.
Epic Client system administrator in:
Hyperspace, HyperSpace Web, BCA, WebBLOB, Interconnect, SystemPulse
Optional Epic certification: Mychart, CareEverywhere
Good to have thorough understanding on application publishing solutions like Citrix
Understanding of IT infrastructure, server virtualization, Microsoft server administration & troubleshooting, computer networking & network load balancing concepts.
Familiar with SLAs and ticketing system.
Certified OR Relevant experience on one or more from these: Microsoft windows servers/Citrix/VMware
Job Description:
Manage and monitor Epic client systems servers and components
Systems monitoring using SystemPulse and SystemPulse analytics
Familiarity on enabling and extracting various logs in Epic (TraceX, HSI, Hyperdrive file logs etc)
Familiarity with Epic Cache TXT client systems menu options
Track Epic print jobs using various tools and troubleshoot when needed.
Manage and maintain Epic BCA components
Operating Epic Kuiper
Familiarity with Hyperdrive deployment scenarios.
Manage Epic updates & upgrades
Review Epic NOVA Notes when assigned to Epic technical team.
Windows print server administration
Applying MS security patches and updates when necessary.
