Job Description
Java Lead Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery tracking.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through automated testing and CI/CD practices.
Technical Skills (Required):
- Core Java, J2EE Expert level
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) Strong experience
- RESTful APIs & Microservices Architecture
- Database SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Messaging Systems Kafka, RabbitMQ (preferred)
- Build Tools Maven, Gradle
- Version Control Git
- CI/CD Tools Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud Platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
- Unit Testing & Automation JUnit, Mockito, Selenium
Soft Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong Communication Skills Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership Experience in leading and mentoring developers.
- Problem-Solving Ability Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ownership & Accountability Takes responsibility for deliverables and timelines.
- Agile Methodologies Comfortable working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Client Interaction Ability to engage with clients for requirement gathering and solution discussions
