Location: Chennai
WFO
Shift time - Between 7 AM to 11 PM (India/UK Shift)
Inviting applications for the role of Lead Creative writer.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality written content for various channels including websites, blogs, social media, advertisements, email campaigns, video scripts, and more.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align messaging and storytelling with brand strategy.
- Generate fresh, original ideas and concepts for campaigns, product launches, and content series.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, tone, and grammatical accuracy.
- Conduct research to support content development and stay updated with industry trends.
- Maintain brand voice and tone across all written materials.
Adapt writing style to suit different audiences, formats, and platforms.
Qualifications:
- Graduate with 6+ years of experience working on projects alone and/or with a team.
- Proven experience as a creative writer, copywriter, content creator, or similar role.
- Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing styles and formats.
- Ability to take feedback and direction while also contributing original ideas.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and content strategy is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams.
