Java Developer @ Purpletalk

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Java + PHP Developer to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both Java (Spring Boot) and PHP (Laravel or

Core PHP), with hands-on experience in building backend APIs, integrating databases, and

contributing to web application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to

develop, maintain, and enhance scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and PHP (Laravel/Core PHP).
• Build RESTful APIs and ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle design, code, test, deploy, and
• maintain.
• Work closely with front-end developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth
• integration.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following best practices.

Required Skills :

• Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Core PHP.
• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of MVC architecture and secure coding practices.
