Job Description
Job Summary:
Mindsprint is looking for a hands-on Technical Architect with over 9 years of experience in full stack development, cloud platforms, and team leadership. This role requires expertise in architecting scalable, cloud-native applications across frontend and backend ecosystems using Node.js, React/Angular, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will provide both technical guidance and strategic vision across project lifecycles, aligning with our digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect full-stack enterprise applications leveraging modern technologies like Node.js, Angular/React, and NestJS.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications on AWS or GCP.
- Mentor engineering teams and review code/design to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Champion DevOps practices including containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders including Product, QA, and UX.
- Lead technology evaluations, POCs, and framework/tool selection.
- Ensure best-in-class security, observability, and system reliability.
- Architect microservices communication strategies using Pub/Sub, Kafka, and NATS.
- Define testing and quality standards including unit, integration, and e2e automation.
- Guide modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves
- 9+ years in software engineering with a minimum of 2 years in a solution/technical architect role.
- Expert-level skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, React, and NestJS.
- Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, PubSub, Secret Manager) or AWS (Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation).
- Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Nginx, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, BigQuery).
- OpenJS Node.js Services Developer (JSNSD), AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Python PCEP certified.
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering cloud-native platforms with global reach.
- Good-to-Haves:
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, or message queues.
- Exposure to frontend architecture using Stencil/Web Components.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Git workflows, and distributed teams.
- Domain experience in payments, CX platforms, or ed-tech.
