Job Description
- The position is a full-time permanent hybrid role based in Bangalore, requiring presence in the office for 3 days a week. The compensation range varies based on years of experience, with a fixed salary and the possibility of a joining bonus. Candidates must have a notice period of immediate to 30 days and should be based in Bangalore to be eligible for the role. As a Backend Java Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot. You are expected to apply design patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), and 12-factor principles while writing clean, modular, and testable code following SOLID and OOPS principles. Implementing REST APIs, Spring Security, and JPA-based persistence are key aspects of the role. Collaboration across teams in an Agile environment, participation in code reviews, and sprint ceremonies are essential. Experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube for CI/CD is required. Deployment and maintenance of services in cloud-based environments, with a preference for AWS, are part of the responsibilities. Additionally, participation in interviews and fostering a collaborative team culture are expected. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java backend development with a strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture is essential. Understanding cloud concepts and basic DevOps tools, along with experience in Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Spring Security, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and testing frameworks like JUnit are necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. A full-time BE/BTech or PG degree in Computer Science or related field is a must, and candidates should be currently based in Bangalore.,
