Job Description
- The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP with the ability to lead a team of 5 members. You should be proficient in writing detailed technical designs and possess the skills to communicate effectively with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Additionally, you should have experience working on both ECC and S/4HANA projects for customers worldwide, with at least 2 implementation or rollout experiences and SAP certifications. You must be well-versed in all RICEF objects in core ABAP, such as Data Dictionary, Reports, Programs, Enhancements, Forms (SAP Scripts, Smart forms, Adobe forms), and Interfaces (BAPIs, IDOCs, APIs). Proficiency in ABAP on HANA and S/4HANA implementation, as well as experience in developing automation in SAP using ABAP, is essential. You should also have the ability to quickly learn niche skills and upskill as needed. A typical day in this role involves interfacing with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction as part of the Infosys delivery team. You will be responsible for understanding requirements, creating and reviewing designs, validating architecture, and providing high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain. Additionally, you will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews, and lead your teams towards developing optimized high-quality code deliverables. Strong leadership qualities, good communication skills, the ability to provide training, and a good understanding of SAP coding standards and best practices from both ECC and HANA are crucial for this role. You should be comfortable working in an AGILE manner, creating product backlogs, estimating user stories, and conducting sprint plannings. Knowledge of technical skills and experience in workflows, FIORI, ODATA, APIs, PROXIS or AIFs, CDS Views, and AMDP would be advantageous.
