Job Description

    The role of supporting urgent technical issues across the business, including at customer sites, and influencing the future of decarbonization for industrial customers is a key responsibility of this position reporting to the Head of Product Integrity Europe function in Compression at Siemens Energy. Your impact in this role will be significant as you undertake tasks such as Root Cause Analysis and resolution of technical non-conformance issues, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for rapid issue resolution, providing essential support for RCA technical lead, working closely with technical specialists in other regions, and guiding the Product Improvement Process to address operational, technical, and field issues. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering, have expertise in rotating equipment design, controls design, compressor testing, and service-related activities. Additionally, experience in supporting RCAs, fault tree analysis, and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals are crucial. Proficiency in English and the ability to work directly with customers in high-pressure environments are also required.
