Software Tester @ Punon Technologies

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating software applications to identify bugs, ensure functionality, and verify compliance with user requirements and company standards. You will play a key role in improving the quality of our products and enhancing the user experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Review and analyse system specifications and requirements

* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

* Perform manual and automated testing on web, and/or mobile applications

* Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, JIRA)

* Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features and enhancements

* Conduct regression, performance, usability, and compatibility testing

* Provide feedback on software usability and suggest improvements

* Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing

* Ensure adherence to QA best practices and company standards

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

* Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar QA role in manual testing

* Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, TestRail)

* Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with automated testing tools

* Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (e.g., Java)

* Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
