Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and implement automation frameworks using Java for API and integration testing.
Develop and maintain robust test suites using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
Validate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc. ).
Perform root cause analysis on failures and drive issues to resolution.
Contribute to performance, load, and security testing efforts where needed.
Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in automation testing.
Strong programming skills in Java.
Hands-on experience with Rest Assured, Postman, or other API testing tools.
Experience testing REST APIs, JSON, XML, and using tools like Swagger, SoapUI, or Karate.
Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or similar test frameworks.
Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc. ).
Solid understanding of testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Exposure to SQL and basic database validation.
