What does the team do?

What Youll Do?

As a leader, you will be responsible for guiding a high-performance backend team working towards the objective of driving the growth of ShareChats ads business, both network and first-party ads. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Owning and driving revenue growth: Establish clear goals for ad revenue expansion and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Strategic collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to ideate, plan, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Team growth and development: Foster the professional growth of team members by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for skill enhancement.
• Architecting scalable systems: Design and develop secure, scalable, and extensible systems while making informed technological decisions to support long-term business needs.
• Shaping culture and values: Cultivate and uphold a strong team culture based on core values that withstand the test of time, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Your leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth within ShareChats advertising ecosystem.

Who are you?

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Strong collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, operations, and business teams.
• Deep understanding of modern technologies, architectures, and industry best practices, with a keen interest in staying up to date with advancements in the field.
• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
• Experience in leading or mentoring teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.
• 8-10 years of experience in backend engineering. At least 1 year of people experience.

Where youll be?

You will be expected to be in our Bangalore office 3 days a week as per our policy.
