Interop - Senior Data Engineer @ Citiustech

Job Description

Interoperability Data Engineer - Technical Lead (TL) 5 to 10 Years Experience

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using Spark and Python.
• Lead development of integration workflows using Oracle Data Integration and Data Flow.
• Collaborate with architects to implement secure and efficient data exchange on Oracle Cloud.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Knowledge of data modeling, particularly healthcare CDMs
• Expertise in processing EDI (837/835), HL7/CCDA, or FHIR bundles
• Familiarity with clinical terminologies (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD, CPT, RXNORM)
• Strong understanding of data lineage, auditability, and governance.
• Experience with building data pipeline Orchestrator.
• Experience with DataOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Parquet.

Skills:

• Strong experience with Apache Spark and Python for large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including Data Integration and Data Flow.
• Understanding of interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and version control (Git).

Must Have skill: Spark + Python + EDI (837/835), HL7/CCDA, or FHIR bundles

Experience: 5 to 10

Location: Chennai/Pune/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Bangalore
