Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Automation Framework Design: Expertise in designing scalable and reusable automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid).
• Scripting Languages: Strong in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting.
• Tools & Platforms: Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright
• CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating tests in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Test Management: Exposure to tools like TestNG, JUnit, Git for versioning.
• Test Strategy & Planning: Ability to define scope, estimate efforts, assign tasks, and prioritize execution.
• Defect Management: Skilled in bug tracking.
• Team Leadership: Mentoring juniors, code review, maintaining quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Performance Testing Concepts: Deep understanding of load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.

Tools Expertise: Advanced hands-on with JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload, or Gatling.

Monitoring & Analysis: Familiarity with tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana for root cause analysis.

Script Management: Ability to parameterize, correlate, and design complex test scenarios.

Bottleneck Identification: Skill in analyzing system metrics (CPU, memory, DB response) to identify performance issues.

Test Planning: Define NFRs, test plans, workload models, ramp-up strategies.

Team Management: Review scripts, mentor juniors, and lead test execution cycles.
