Job Description
Release Coordinator-
Responsibilities
1. Plan and manage the end-to-end release process, including coordinating with various teams to gather requirements and dependencies.
2. Develop and maintain release schedules and timelines, ensuring all releases are delivered on time and within scope.
3. Monitor and troubleshoot release related issues.
4. Develop and maintain documentation related to the release process, including release notes and user guides.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Coordinate with Dev and QA teams to ensure software builds are properly tested.
Required Skills
1. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and release management process.
2. Knowledge of source control systems such as Git,SVN , Branching strategy
3. Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira and Ticketing Tool (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy)
4. Good Understanding of Testing Process.
5. Good Experience in Microsoft Excel.
6. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly analyze and resolve release related issues.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
8. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
1.Bachlor's degree in computer's science, Engineering, or related field.
2.Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as Release Engineer/Release Coordinator or in a similar role.
3.Experience in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum. (Advantage)
4.Experience with cloud-based platforms and technologies, such as Azure Devops, AWS.
5.Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
