Senior Automation Test Engineer (Tech Lead)
Job Objective
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer /Tech Lead to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products, while leveraging your work with AI models and tools. You will work closely with other developers, product managers, and QA engineers to drive continuous improvement in our testing processes and deliver high-quality software.
-Job responsibilities
- Become part of the core team that will create the new testing architecture and development foundations for the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases and automation strategies.
- Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior QA engineers.
- Identify, document, and track bugs/issues.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve them.
- Continuously improve test coverage, test effectiveness, and test efficiency.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
- High proficiency with TypeScript with at least 3 years of experience.
- Substantial hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright) as well as API testing frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise-grade solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
