Job Description
Mandatory:
1. 5-8 yrs of hands-on experience on Cloud (GCP/Azure)
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Hands on knowledge on Unix, VMs, networking, windows servers.
4. In-depth development skills with programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, Bash.
Good to have:
1. GCP/Azure Cloud Certification.
2. CCNA/CCNP Certified.
3. For people with Cloud experience/training/certification
a. Knowledge of declarative infrastructure-as-code systems such as Terraform, and Ansible.
b. Knowledge of Docker Orchestration and Cloud Deployment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Cloud Engineer will be working on GCP & Azure cloud platforms.
Handle Cloud and DevOps tasks/issues related to one or more of the above 3 cloud environments.
Responsible for building and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
Responsible for communicating with customers for understanding, analyzing, implementing, and solving the challenges related to the cloud environments.
Develop and execute comprehensive cloud migration strategies and plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
Design and implement cloud architectures that align with business objectives and ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Perform thorough testing and validation of migrated systems to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability in the cloud environment.
Utilize knowledge of applications/scripts development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming/scripting languages for design specifications.
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as to conduct testing and debugging
