Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide CAD drawing support for the maintenance of the client CAFM/IWMS system, prepare reporting, and develop test fits/space plans to support tactical planning. You will have working knowledge and able to read and markup differing drawing types and skilled in AutoCAD (intermediate level).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, maintain, and review quality of drawings (architectural, furniture)
  • Conduct space surveys in the field
  • Analyzes space requirements and provides conceptual space plans and recommendations to real estate team(s) and/or stakeholders
  • Produces drawings and presentations for internal stakeholder(s) for review and feedback; involves project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services.
  • Support maintenance of space data in CAFM/IWMS system, including recurring and ad hoc report preparation
  • Collaborates with other team members to gain business intelligence. Responsible for occupancy data within the system of record. May be required to manage space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics.
  • Makes recommendations to Management on necessary space planning code changes and/or requirements and updates.
  • Attends client meetings to collect requirements, present findings and recommendation. Obtains approvals to proceed when required.
  • Acts as a single point of contact for relevant systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
  • Other duties may be assigned, including supporting onsite Site Operations

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum three years experience directly related to the delivery of CAD/CAFM drawing maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AutoCAD drawing experience is required. CAFM software experience is preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Proficient with MS Office Suite (MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines. Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable service to client(s). Ability to present information in an effective way. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to collaborate, problem solve and multi-task. Ability to adapt to change when necessary.

GOALS

1. Contribute to recurring (weekly/bi-weekly) meetings with manager and colleagues

2. Maintain 100% compliance to client Design Standards and Data Accuracy Reporting

3. Meet all expectations of CAD/CAFM job descriptions and remain in compliance with pre-determined SLAs (as documented in Playbook)

4. Log all work as records in Activity Tracker
