Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Experience using GCP Cloud
Experience in managed GKE cluster setup and automated deployment of workloads using helm charts
Experience of managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Experience using CI/CD concepts and using Azure DevOps for CI/CD (any other CI/CD tool will also work)
Experience in using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD
Experience in using Service Mesh such as Anthos
Experience in any Scripting Language for Automation such as bash
Experience of version control systems such as Git
Coaching & Mentoring to other engineers
Preferred candidate profile
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for the advanced processes of architecting, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure along with the CI/CD Pipelines. We are looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and experienced individual, who can think creatively to solve problems and meet technical requirements. You must have a keen interest and good knowledge in cloud engineering and be ready to research, learn, and advise new tools, technologies and patterns as required.
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for fulfilling their objectives, actively seeking to improve their technical and other knowledge skills focusing on CI/CD and Cloud engineering. The Senior Cloud Engineer embodies the core cultural values at the heart of Admiral's success.
The Senior Cloud Engineer will actively participate in Agile Ceremonies and Technical Meetings to provide technical expertise relating to DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
The Senior Cloud Engineer will take an evangelistic approach, consisting of agile practices, processes, and procedures designed to facilitate rapid IT service and product delivery. Cloud emphasizes people (and culture) and seeks to improve collaboration between development (Dev) and operations (Ops) teams with the aim of shortening the systems development life cycle to provide continuous release of high-quality software.
