Your work profile:
As a Analyst/Consultant/Senior Consultant in our T&T Team you ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
- Design, develop and deploy solutions using different tools, design principles and conventions.
- Configure robotics processes and objects using core workflow principles in an efficient way; ensure they are easily maintainable and easy to understand.
- Understand existing processes and facilitate change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
- Solve day to day issues arising while running robotics processes and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain proper documentation for the solutions, test procedures and scenarios during UAT and Production phase.
- Coordinate with process owners and business to understand the as-is process and design the automation process flow.
Desired Qualifications
GCP Platform Engineer , you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, enabling our engineering teams to develop and scale applications seamlessly. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to design and implement robust cloud solutions, improve automation, and enhance the performance and security of our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Design & Implementation:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Deploy and configure core GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, VPC, and Cloud Functions.
- Implement and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring the platform s reliability and scalability.
- Infrastructure Automation & Management:
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, automated deployments of platform and application components.
- Implement self-healing infrastructure and automation for operational tasks such as backups, patch management, and scaling.
- Monitoring, Performance, and Optimization:
- Monitor and maintain platform performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Leverage GCP monitoring tools like Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Stackdriver to proactively identify issues and resolve them before they affect operations.
- Optimize resource usage and reduce cloud costs while maintaining performance standards.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement and manage security controls and best practices for cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure configurations of cloud resources and services.
- Set up and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, permissions, and security policies to control access to GCP resources.
- Work closely with the security team to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform is optimized for the applications and services they are building and deploying.
- Provide operational support for platform-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents and performance issues.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and support for cloud-related projects.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for platform architecture, configuration, and operational processes.
- Share knowledge with team members and stakeholders, providing training on cloud technologies, best practices, and platform usage.
- Develop runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides for platform management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 6+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure and platforms, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, VPC, and Cloud Functions.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Stackdriver, or Prometheus.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar) for automation and infrastructure management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with serverless computing solutions (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS).
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or AppDynamics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative, DevOps environment.
Location and way of working:
- Base location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
