Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform using best practices
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical designs
Develop workflows, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and notifications within ServiceNow
Create and maintain integration solutions with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Work on modules like ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM and ensure they are optimized for performance
Conduct unit testing, UAT, and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code; conduct code reviews to ensure high quality
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and defects in ServiceNow modules
Document technical specifications, configurations, and release notes for internal knowledge sharing
Provide ongoing support for BAU activities and enhancement requests
Stay updated with ServiceNow's latest releases and drive platform upgrades and innovations
Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and security standards in solution design
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance analytics widgets for business use
Skills Required:
Must-Have:
Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
Strong understanding of ITSM, CMDB, and ServiceNow workflows
Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform scripting
Experience in integration development with third-party systems
Strong knowledge of platform components: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, Notifications, etc.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with ITOM, HAM/SAM modules
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines in a ServiceNow environment
Knowledge of Performance Analytics, Service Portal, and Flow Designer
Understanding of data security and compliance requirements in enterprise environments
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certifications are mandatory
