Job Description
Work timings : 4 AM IST to 1 PM IST (India early morning Shift) Location : India based colleague (Any States) Role : Middleware Administrator
This role requires middleware Administrator experience and technical skills essential to support complex Application architecture and systems, to effectively contribute to Middleware related projects also to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.

App Server products - Tomcat, WebSphere, Jboss, MS IIS Web server products Apache http, MS IIS API Products Mulesoft, Azure APIm, AWS API gateway, Workato a plus APM and Log Management New Relic and Datadog Azure app and web tier products would a plus
Formal Education & Certification
This role requires middleware Administrator experience and technical skills essential to support complex Application architecture and systems, to effectively contribute to Middleware related projects also to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Middleware and API platform support and maintenance
- Perform Middleware and API platform migrations to new systems and new software releases
- Deliver new Middleware services including Application, web servers
- Troubleshoot Middleware related issues, support incidents and changes
- Work with multiple Middleware servers and complex multi-layer middleware environments
- Provide on-call Middleware support as a member of a Global Team
- Perform RCA for incidents & provide remediation plan to functional teams
Soft Skills required
- Attention to Detail
- Possess a keen interest within Middleware technologies Application and web servers by understanding new current/forthcoming versions
- Skill in using analytics, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot issues and find the best solutions to overcome challenges
- Must have a passion for providing excellent support to all types of users as well as impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess organizational proficiencies to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
- Must be a team player and have the ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel within the organization
Requirements:
- At least 10-12 years of experience in administrating tomcat, WebSphere, Jboss on Linux and MS IIS on windows
- Understanding of MIddleware design, installation and configuration, Middleware monitoring tools and disaster recovery solutions
- Technical skills:
- SSL certification and its Management
- Middleware products operations, configuration, patching
- Expertise in application performance tuning
- Application Security
- App and web tier Management

Formal Education & Certification
- Bachelors degree in computer science / information system / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- ITIL certified Added advantage.
- Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) - Must
