Hardware Engineer @ Silver Touch

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and service-oriented Hardware & Network Support Engineer to manage and maintain our IT hardware and network systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware issues, resolving network problems, and supporting video conferencing operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Option 1: Bachelors Degree in Engineering with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Option 2: Diploma in Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in hardware maintenance of computers, printers, and networking equipment
• Working knowledge of network troubleshooting and video conferencing systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues including system failures, printer malfunctions, and peripheral connectivity
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems, including LAN/WAN connectivity, IP conflicts, and router/switch issues
• Operate and support video conferencing systems, ensuring smooth setup and functionality during meetings
• Maintain inventory of hardware assets and ensure timely upgrades and replacements
• Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for efficient issue resolution

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with basic network protocols and configurations
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and documentation abilities
• Experience with Linux OS is a plus
