Sr. Proposal and Estimation Engineer @ Emerge Automation

Job description

- Candidate should have experience in estimating industrial automation projects. All the projects will be for US based clients.

- Candidates will be required to review specifications and plans issued by consultants and
prepare estimate.

- Prepare Request for Quote (RFQ) documents for vendors to get quote for various
hardware/software.

- Co-ordinate with multiple vendors to get quotes. Review quotes to ensure that the quotes
comply with the specifications.

- Candidates should have knowledge to select following devices as per the specifications:

• PLC
• OIT/HMI
• Control Panel Components enclosures, 24 VDC PS, UPS, relays, CB etc.
• Networking equipment such as Ethernet switches, cellular modems etc.
• Instrumentation
• Software such as SCADA, Historian, Reporting software etc.

- Candidates should be able to prepare IO list/IO count from specifications and P&IDs

- Write scope of work document or Proposals

- Co-ordinate with US team members on the bid aspects.

- Candidates should have excellent verbal and written skills.

- Pune or nearby candidates preferred.
