Data Engineer - Python / Spark Developer @ Morgan Stanley

Job Description

What you'll do in the role:

Support infrastructure related upgrades involving database and other environments.

Develop and support of Data Ingestion Framework (using Spark, Python, Databricks, SQL etc.)

Implement DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code-utilizing tools like Git

What you'll bring to the role:

2+ years of working experience in Data Warehousing

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (i.e., Data modelling, data transformations)

Strong Skills in Relational Databases and writing complex SQL

Good Python programming skills

Good understanding of Unix shell scripting

Knowledge about DevOps implementation in Data space

Hands on experience with Spark, Snowflake and/or Databricks Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
