Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights.
- Build, test, and deploy machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and statistical analysis to ensure high data quality.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
- Implement scalable data pipelines and workflows using Python, SQL, and big data technologies.
- Monitor model performance and optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies (AI/ML, NLP, Generative AI, MLOps) and propose innovative solutions.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- 37 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in advanced analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL and experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Exposure to big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional, international teams.
- Willingness to relocate/work in the USA.
