Java Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Cloud platforms, and proven experience working in product-based companies (or product-based clients) with exposure to high-traffic, large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and design patterns.
  
• Work with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) for deployment and scaling.
  
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code.
  
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java (8/11/17).
  
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Microservices.
  
• Proficiency in Data Structures & Algorithms.
  
• Cloud exposure AWS / Azure / GCP (any one is fine).
  
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  
• Experience in a product-based company (or worked with product-based clients).
  
• Proven experience working on high-traffic / large-scale distributed applications.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  

Good to Have

• Exposure to event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
