Senior Engineer-Java Developer (Mumbai)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.2+, Angular, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, and RabbitMQ. As a Senior Developer, you will be hands-on with coding, problem solving, and designing modules, while collaborating closely with Tech Leads and Architects to build scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot (3.2+).

2. Build microservices with Spring Cloud, Scheduler, Security, AOP, Data JPA, Integration.

3. Develop responsive and interactive front-end applications using Angular.

4. Implement REST APIs and ensure seamless integration with UI and external systems.

5. Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, query optimization, and data handling.

6. Implement search functionalities with ElasticSearch.

7. Design and integrate caching solutions with Redis.

8. Work with RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems.

9. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

10. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business analysts to ensure smooth delivery.

11. Follow Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

1. Strong hands-on expertise in Java 17 (at least 1.8 and above).

2. Spring Boot 3.2+ with modules: Microservices, Scheduler, Security, Data JPA, AOP, Integration, Spring Cloud.

3. Hibernate ORM experience.

4. Angular for UI development.

5. PostgreSQL database design and optimization.

6. ElasticSearch search, indexing, and query optimization.

7. Redis caching and performance optimization.

8. RabbitMQ message broker patterns.

9. Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and best practices.

Optional Skills (Good to Have)

1. Exposure to Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Nexus.

2. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenShift).

3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environment.
