Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SPM and automation equipment design, with strong expertise in SolidWorks and sound fundamentals in mechanical engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design innovative automation and packaging solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and detail assemblies and sub-assemblies of machine tools, fixtures, and automation equipment.

• Develop detailed 3D models in SolidWorks.

• Create solid & sheet metal parts, assemblies, and design tables using SolidWorks.

• Prepare precise manufacturing drawings, define tolerances, and apply GD&T standards.

• Perform engineering calculations and ensure design accuracy.

• Coordinate with production, purchase, and marketing teams for project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 2 - 3 years of experience in SPM or automation design.

• Proficient in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.

• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
