As Data Scientist III you will be responsible for working on cutting-edge projects, dive into probabilistic models, and help us create the next wave of innovation in logistics.
Role Description:
Ideation and opportunity discovery to implement data science solutions to enhance existing product
experience
Converting fuzzy product/ business requirements into a data science problem
To set the agenda/direction for data science application at Locus
Taking Ownership of the entire pipeline - from idea conception to delivery
To evangelize **@Lo**s internally and externally
Mentoring your team members and data scientists
Qualifications:
Held the position of a DS-3 or similar level for more than a year with an overall 6-10 years experience in this domain
Operations Research background preferred
Have great coding skills - Python (preferred).
High proficiency in use of scientific libraries similar to and not limited to pandas, matplotlib, nltk, numpy, sklearn, seaborn, scipy, etc.
Experience of mentoring and guiding peer team members.
Displayed technical leadership skills
Have published patents / publications in national or international tier-1 peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
Possess critical and creative thinking
Have taken projects from ideation to production
Have Processed data at scale and possess knowledge of distributed systems
Have working knowledge of PyTorch, Keras and/or TensorFlow or similar framework
Armed with:
- Open-source contributions in the AI/ML domain is a plus
- Knowledge of Apache Spark/Hadoop and EcoSystem tools is a big plus
- Logistics and Supply Chain domain experience is a big plus
