Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Corporate Sales to join our Corporate Division in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Travel Management Company (TMC) sales, with the ability to acquire new corporate clients, nurture existing client relationships, and lead a small team of sales professionals. This role requires a balance of business development and account management, along with strong leadership skills and an individual contributor mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate clients to expand Akbar Travels client base in Bengaluru and the Southern region.
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client requirements.
- Develop and execute a robust sales pipeline and achieve revenue and business acquisition targets.
- Negotiate and close contracts with prospective clients ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and service excellence.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.
- Understand client travel policies and requirements to customize solutions and value-added services.
- Resolve client issues promptly in coordination with internal teams to maintain a high service standard.
Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of corporate sales executives.
- Drive team performance, provide training, and ensure alignment with corporate sales goals.
- Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and technology teams to deliver seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline updates, and client feedback for senior management.
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives for the Corporate Division.
Key Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 812 years of proven sales experience in the Travel Management Company (TMC) industry.
- Demonstrated success in corporate client acquisition and account management.
- Strong knowledge of corporate travel products, services, and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating small teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting.
- Ability to travel within India as required.
