Work shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualification - BE/B.Tech
Mandatory skills- Manual testing which includes API testing, knowledge on TOSCA (important)
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manual Quality Assurance (QA) professional with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by meticulously testing features, identifying bugs, and validating fixes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
2. Defect Identification and Reporting:
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools e,g. Azure DevOps.
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
3. Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure test coverage aligns with project goals and user expectations.
4. Regression Testing:
Perform regression testing to validate the impact of new features or bug fixes on existing functionality.
Maintain and update regression test suites.
5. Quality Assurance Documentation:
Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test case repositories, and testing reports.
Provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings in Agile environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years of experience in manual software testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify edge cases and thoroughly test scenarios.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Documentation: Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases, bug reports, and test summaries.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Domain Knowledge: Exposure to specific domains such as e-commerce, finance, healthcare, or enterprise applications is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience on SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
Exposure to automation tools like TOSCA or willingness to learn automation frameworks in the future.
